This year’s high school trip will be an adventure trip to Montana through Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp, a Christ-centered spiritual growth experience for youth and adults. The Flathead staff is trained to help groups understand God's message of Good News for our lives and to provide positive Christian role models. Our trip will include a variety of adventure activities. Some of these activities could be: sailing, kayaking, and a high and low-ropes challenge course, rock climbing, and hiking/backpacking in the Montana mountains. We will end the week white water rafting. Flathead is located east of Glacier National Park. There is some ability to make some custom changes to our trip based on student’s suggestions.
Dates - Bethel youth will attend the Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp session offered from June 22 – June 27, 2025. Exact dates of the trip will be determined once we finalize flights. Likely, it will be Sunday, June 22 – Saturday, June 28. We may need to leave on Saturday, June 21.
Housing – We will sleep at Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp in various ways including: in platform tents (with bunk beds), tents, hammocks and on a sailboat/boat dock under the stars. Participants need to bring their own sleeping bags, clothes, towels, etc. A detailed packing list will be provided.
Transportation - We will travel by plane and Flathead Bible Camp will pick us up from the airport.
Meals – Flathead will provide our meals at camp, however, there will be a few traveling meals (mostly in airports) that will be above and beyond the fee listed below.
Registration - Bethel’s registration deadline for Flathead is December 15. The registration link can be found below. In addition to registering, please submit a $300 deposit check to Bethel. For information on the total cost of the trip, please see the information sheet.
Can I have a friend join us? YES! We love friends! They do need to currently be in 10th – 12th grade.
