Over the past 10 months, we’ve talked a lot about the sounds and sights of our worship, education, and fellowship experiences at Bethel. Many of these conversations were guided by the appointed Bethel A/V Update Task Force, and led to identifying the places where updates can benefit our ministries.
After months of information gathering, a final proposal for updates to our A/V systems was brought before the Church Council. At their September meeting, the Bethel Church Council voted to move forward with the full proposed A/V Update. This work will be undertaken in three phases, with each phase being a self contained update begun once it has been fully funded. We are excited to kick off the first phase of fundraising for these important updates.
Phase 1 is all about our Sanctuary SOUND! For this phase, we will be fully updating the speakers and wireless mic system in our sanctuary, as well as installing Bluetooth enabled hearing assistance. These will all work in tandem to remove the dead zones currently found within our sanctuary, broaden the range of sound frequencies available, and allow members and visitors with hearing loss to participate fully in worship without missing a beat.
The total funds needed for the Phase 1, Sanctuary Audio update are $65,500. We ask that you prayerfully consider the level of contribution your household can make as we work as a full Bethel community to see these updates to fruition.
You can make a direct online donation by following this LINK to Bethel’s Breeze system - select “Audio/Visual PHASE 1” in the drop down to direct your giving. If you would prefer to donate via check, simply include “A/V Update Phase 1” in your subject line.
If you are specifically excited about Phases 2 (“Back of House”: the CLC, Youth Room, and Center Pod) and 3 (Sanctuary Video), linked HERE is a pledge form to indicate pledges towards these Phases once they are active, or later pledges to Phase 1.
Thank you for all that you give!
