Join us for worship at 11:30 a.m., 5:15 p.m., or 7:00 p.m.  Both the 11:30 and 7 services are traditional Ash Wednesday services with Holy Communion and the imposition of ashes.  The 5:15 service is part of our children’s BAM Chapel service and will also include the imposition of ashes.  We look forward to the beginning of our journey through Lent.

Dorothy Bass

On Sunday, February 26, Bethel welcomes speaker and writer Dorothy Bass.   Dorothy will preach at both services and lead our adult forum on the topic of Living Faith:  Practicing the Presence of God in Daily Life.  Come and hear how to live out your Christian faith with vitality and integrity in these changing times.

Dorothy Bass directs the Valparaiso Project on the Education and Formation of People in Faith (www.practicingourfaith.org), a Lilly Endowment project based at Valparaiso University.  She is the author of Receiving the Day: Christian Practices for Opening the Gift of Time and the editor of Practicing Our Faith: A Way of Life for a Searching People and several other books.  She is a member of Christ Lutheran Church (ELCA) in Valparaiso.
