Using the Enneagram as a guide, we will look at nine beautiful ways we are created in God’s image. These are referred to as the essential qualities or essence of each of the nine Enneagram types. Being human means we lose touch with our essential qualities. We all yearn to reconnect and remember who we really are. The Enneagram offers insight about how we can let go of our false self and return to our true essence as we become more and more present to ourselves, others and God.
Along with being informative and experiential, we will also have some time for individual reflection. We will journey together through the essence, loss of essence and the path of returning to essence and virtue for each type. We will learn spiritual practices that are especially helpful for each Enneagram type.
Debbi Horton’s listening, creativity, openness, and sense of humor infuse her leadership of Enneagram retreats, along with her Spiritual Direction practice, her own spiritual practices, and her roles as a wife, and mom of a teenager.
